As a Master’s student in IMHE (Interactions-Microorganisms-Hosts-Environments) at the University of Montpellier, I am passionate about microbiology and agrosciences. I am particularly interested in marine microbiology and microbial ecotoxicology, especially the interactions between pollutants and microorganisms in aquatic and marine environments. My main research interests focus on emerging contaminants in marine environments, particularly microplastics and their role as vectors for microorganisms and pathogens. I am also interested in their interactions with other contaminants present in aquatic systems and their impact on microbial ecology and ecosystem health. I am particularly interested in marine microorganisms, especially bacteria involved in biofilm formation, microbial consortia colonizing microplastics, and potentially pathogenic microorganisms whose transmission can be influenced by environmental contamination. My work focuses on marine ecosystems, especially coastal and open-sea environments impacted by anthropogenic pollution, including microplastic-contaminated waters and sediments.
